SHIPPING, RETURN & REFUND

SHIPPING POLICY

At Desi Potli®, our aim is to ship your order in a quick, secure and inexpensive manner. Should you find the package is tampered please do not accept delivery. If the delivery is accepted, it shall be assumed that the package was received in a secure condition.  Delivery time for your starts from the date of order confirmation.

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER? 
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email and SMS.  

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO DELIVER MY ORDER?
Domestic - It will take 7-10 business days for your order to be delivered in India. Please get in touch with us at help@desipotli.com for expedited delivery.
International – It will take 12-15 working days for your order to be delivered. Some locations may take longer depending on customs regulations.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE MY ORDER IS NOT DELIVERED?
In case the ordered items do not reach the customer within 30 days from the shipping date from our warehouse, we will offer a full refund, provided any tracking information does not show that delivery was attempted at the customer doorstep. The refund will be initiated within 7-10 days from the date of raising a complaint with us.

IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGE?
For India: Shipping is free for all prepaid orders anywhere in India. Cash on Delivery (COD) is available. Shipping charge for COD orders is flat Rs. 99 for each item over and above COD order value. Shipping charges are not refundable.
For International: Shipping charges will be levied basis cart value, weight and location. This will show directly at checkout and will be included in your order. Due to the nature of international shipping, occasionally a customer may have to pay additional custom duties and local taxes that are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Please note the amount of custom duties & taxes depend on the policies of your destination country. In some cases there is no additional custom charges. However we are unable to calculate when and how much these infrequent custom charges will be levied. In such a case where additional charges are assessed you are responsible for paying these additional fees.

 

RETURN POLICY

HOW DO I KNOW IF AN ITEM IS ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN?  
We adopt a 3 days for domestic and 5 days for international orders policy. In case your product is damaged/defective it is eligible for return. Please note any loom weave may not be same across the pattern due to nature of handcrafted technique and will not be considered as a defect. Similarly little variation in print and colour is possible due to nature of traditional Block Printing Technique and will not be considered as a defect either.  The product/s are unused, unwashed, and returned with all original packaging and tags. If a certain style is NOT eligible, it is mentioned on the product page itself.

Free gifts/products received in promotional offers are not eligible for return.

WHAT ABOUT MY MONEY AFTER I RETURN MY ORDER? 
In case of damaged/defective products, refunds will be initiated through the same mode as the payment within 10 working days as per our refund policy. Please note, Cash on Delivery and shipping charges are not refundable. 

WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO RETURN A PRODUCT? 
It takes 4 quick steps to return a product within INDIA.
Step 1: Please write to us at help@desipotli.com with your order id, an image of the defect and address for pick-up. Return request is valid within 3 days of order received.
Step 2: A reverse pick-up will be scheduled. Our logistic partners will pick up the package from the address mentioned in the email and return it to us. Occasionally you may be asked to self ship the products because the reverse pick-up/logistic service is not available to a said location. Please share a tracking number with an order ID to help@desipotli.com and we will keep you informed on the matter. A maximum amount of Rs.100 would be refunded to you. 
Step 3: After we receive the product, our team will do a quality check.
Step 4: Accordingly, you will receive a refund for the amount of the style/s returned as per the refund policy.

International: 
Step 1: Please write to us at help@desipotli.com with your order id, an image of the defect and address for pick-up. Return request is valid within 3 days of order received.
Step 2: A reverse pick-up is not available outside India therefore the customer will have to self ship the products and the shipping charges for sending the products back has to be borne by the customer. Please share a tracking number with an order ID to help@desipotli.com and we will keep you informed on the matter.
Step 3: After we receive the product, our team will do a quality check.
Step 4: Accordingly, you will receive a refund for the amount of the style/s returned as per the refund policy. 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY RETURN? 
For domestic orders: 7 to 10 working days.  
For international orders: 10-15 days.
We do not accept returns on final sale products. 

 

IS THERE ANY OTHER INFORMATION TO NOTE FOR EXCHANGE & RETURN? 
NOTE FOR RETURN & EXCHANGE: 
* The items should be unused and unwashed for hygiene reasons. 
* The product should have the original packaging. 
* Sarees with fall and edging would not be accepted for return or exchange. 
* Customised products cannot be returned or exchanged 
* Return/Exchange request that are not raised within 3 days for domestic and 5 days for international orders from the date of receiving the product would not be accepted. 
* Alterations would be done only once for the blouses or customised orders, if needed. If you need any further alterations, the alteration and courier charges would have to be borne by the customer. 

WHY ARE CERTAIN PRODUCTS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN? 
Products purchased on a higher discount are not eligible for return/exchange. We mention that the product is 'FINAL SALE' i.e not valid for return/ exchange below the name of the product on the product page in red as well.
