Care
- Wash linen fabrics in lukewarm water and dry in shade to minimise shrinkage
- It is best not to fold linenclothing for storage, always hang it. Linen is stiff after washing
- Linenfeels cold and may feel slightly damp on touch
Linen textile is light, breathable, absorbent, sustainable and gets stronger with each wash. It helps you keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Linen loves to wrinkle, as a fabric, it has a nubby texture and some wrinkling only serves to add even more character.
Origin - Natural fabric linen is made from the flax plant. Flax is one of the oldest textile fibres used by humans; evidence of its use has been found in Switzerland's prehistoric lake dwellings. Fine linenfabrics have been discovered in ancient Egyptian tombs. Manufacturing linen is a laborious and timely process, from harvesting in the fields to fabric construction on the factory floor.

Every article is handcrafted hence unevenness in the selvedge and weave could be expected and colors may fade or bleed due to the traditional dyeing technique applied. Similarly there may be little variation in print and color due to nature of traditional Block Printing Technique.
